I had the win10 upgrade app in my taskbar and now it isnt there ;~;

No it will not forget up your files or registry.
Make sure you uninstall any mods though like custom themes.

also once again Edge will get extension support in a later update.

for those who are complaining you didn't get the pop up to update yet i'm just gonna go through a few ways to tell when you will.

1. go to C:\ in explorer
2. make sure hidden files are shown
3. if you see "~Windows ~BT" that is the update files for windows 10.

if you see these then chances are you're gonna get the update notification soon.

if you don't see these you are welcome to try this thing out:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

those are the real two ways you could get the update.
