You crush the doorknob with the hammer and block the door with the living room furniture before throwing the window open. You dive out and look for something to grab only to realize that you have nothing but a flat wall to work with. You hit the street five stories down shattering your legs and pelvis before being flattened by a street sweeper.

You push the living room furniture in front of the door as quietly as you can before going to the window. You are five stories up and above the street. No buildings are within jumping distance.
try and get a ladder or a rope/makeshift rope and climb out the back
You look for a way to climb down. You do the common movie method of tying bedsheets together but it only reaches down to the third floor. There is a window about 10 feet to the left on the third floor that is open, but the sheets won't reach that far. There is a narrow 12 inch ledge spanning the length of your floor though, so you could possibly get over there.
Jam the closet door so when you escape out the window they think you locked yourself in the closet
You get a ruler from the kitchen, open the closet door, and shut it. The ruler snaps and jams the door.
You hear a fourth voice in the hallway. It sounds like a woman.
"Hi I'm here for First National Bank and are here to foreclose on this apartment. Do you guys live here?"
Your uncle responds explaining that his late sister lived there with his nephew, but his nephew ran away and he fears he could be inside.
"Oh! No problem, let me open the door."
The door unlocks and bumps against the barricade. Everyone outside utters perplexed gasps. The other men start banging on the door pushing the furniture.
