States > Schedules.

Also why does it have ring.png in the shapes folder and not use the default one?

Also there's an echo in it so you'll get spam in console saying "Release" everytime you let go and an unkown command.

There's a lot of echos in here which could get annoying for coders.
No item icon.
Box in third person.
Useless easyspawn function.
Lots of schedules at once = lag. Use a global schedule for everything (Portal Gun, Wrench Events) or the State system of the weapon. (Gravity Gun)

You also can't control how you swing without letting go.

This is idiocy, using an RTB model which has a weird collision box in retail, as most RTB models do.

I have taken his script and refined it to where it no longer gives echos and supports universal usage a bit better. Additionally, it uses a blue Bow model and has an itemicon. I've still done a few tweaks to it, but yeah. I can't believe qwerty let this random person simply release it here as a full add-on. What was he thinking?

Have you changed it so it uses states?

Use the "no gun" model from rot's zombie mod. That way it would be more like the real ninja chain (no it is not a suppose to be a rope) And make it actually use the ring particle so it is a chain. I could do all that for you if you give me the fixed script.

I doubt he would.

I personally have this and got rid of some of the consul echoes, but it still needs allot of work, thanks for ruining it.  Now instead of it being released as a full fun add-on, it is given out as a crappy fail add-on and has less chance of being popular then if it had been refined before release.

Please respect qwerty. hes a great scripter of rtb

Anyway I improved the NinjaRope - it now uses the Printer model, and uses the state system for better global use. This also gets rid of annoying console spamming echos. No downloads are required, it uses existing resources.
