Author Topic: Cannot add funds to steam account.  (Read 1115 times)

I've tried way too many times now to add funds to my steam account and it isn't working. I know for a fact that my payment info is correct but I keep getting an error that says "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.". I've contacted steam support and sent a ticket but they haven't responded yet (It's been 24hours). I was just wondering if it's possible that me recently changing my password and adding an authenticator to the account could have caused this?

I'm sure nothing is wrong with the card.

I'm about to set up paypal to try it, but I'm afraid of just getting money stuck in the account. Can still try with like $5 I guess.

Yeah, maybe I was a little to impatient.

You can link your bank account to paypal and you can then deposit/withdraw money from your bank account through that.

try re-entering or re-checking everything over more than twice, you'll probably find something that you didn't notice when you were typing.
