hasn't been one of these in a long while

Discuss religion and your beliefs, I'm Agnostic Theist and a Methodist

just letting you know this thread is going to go downhill real quick

but im agnostic, really not concerned with religion at this point in my life, more so an agnostic theist based off your chart

deadset in the middle going by averages.

Used to be Gnostic, but a quote from Futurama made me Agnostic: "If you do things right, they will never know you're even there."

I don't believe in a God that does favors or kills people, but there's always the possibility something supernatural is out there.

Gnostic Theist

I'm Christian but I don't really identify with any particular denomination. The closest would have to be Baptist, although I don't totally agree with everything they stand on.

I'll post more in this thread a little later.

gnostic Theist. I'm a Christian.

It's complicated because 'god' can fall into many categories, and the categories themselves vary. I find it very possible that an extra galactic being can pretty much do what ever it wants; however it doesn't mean it's immensely or infinitely knowledgeable, and powerful. I think humans can pretty much become gods of their own, it's not the first time tribes thought that white people were earth-locked spirits simply because they're pale and have reflective items like a watch or a mirror. I'm going to say that true gods don't exist, but superior lifeforms can and will.

this may come as a surprise but i am currently an agnostic theist

im currently just listening to both sides of the argument (not on this forum, but on youtube from highly esteemed atheistic scholars/professors and from christian apologists) and for me whoever makes the most reasonable/fitting case will be what i go with.

ive currently already ruled out mormonism and islam. you wouldnt believe how crappy and full of holes the mormon religious foundation is.

i actually quite often find myself agreeing with some of the things harris, dawkins and the amazing atheist say. but they also kinda tend to be jerks

If you actually want to get somewhere, I suggest you don't watch the amazing atheist.
