I spent more time watching anime on my family's home theater setup than playing with consoles, but I could never relive the experience of sitting through games far before my time, such as LoZ: OoT, Pokemon Snap, Goldeneye 007, etc... All the consoles were owned by my brother, but he let me toy with them.
My family got worried about my development as I played so much with my N64 and Gamecube, so they made me quit for a long time. Still, I'd occasionally sneak into the living room at night and get immersed in a game.
Those were pretty fun times.
