yeah, I liked that one too, except for the fact that it seemed like the professor's intelligence kinda... dropped...

imo I liked unwound future and azran legacy. I love the stories and music in these games so much.

he uses swords, shotguns. you go into casinos, Flash Mob is implied and lastly corprate manipulation.

im not trying to justify it as not being a "kids game", but it's really more than it looks to the eye. the stories are excellent.

the aa crossover imo is the worst game, and you get very little context into the series and layton is a lot more stupid than in the other games

get something like curious village or lost spectre

I got it when I was 9 and didn't know how to do the first puzzle so I never played it again. It would probably make more sense nowadays.

Yeah my issue with the crossover is that there should have been more characters from both respective series as opposed to this somewhat boring medieval cast of characters; One would enter this type of game well aware it's probably not canon so might as well go all out with it. It was still a good game but I don't think it holds up to the potential that it could have had.

Ever watch the movie Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva? it's fantastically animated although its plot is expected for what it is, at least that's what I think.
