question about half-life: Source -> Gonarch's Lair

long story short i, for fun, decided to go through the entirety of Half-Life: Source with only the crowbar.

i made it to Gonarch's Lair, and all i still have is a single crowbar

so the question is, is it possible to kill Gonarch with only a crowbar? or am i doomed

i ignored every single weapon except for the crowbar in the first chapter

then i carefully made my way through the entire game dodging HECU grunts and crowbaring aliens

There was several guns and explosives before you entered Xen, I think you're forgeted buddy.

it's possible to jump inside of the gonarch and smack it in the goldsrc version but I dunno how much source changes things

you're able to jump inside the gonarch in the source version too but i don't know if it does any damage

I dont think its possible to win the fight agaisnt the nihilanth with the crowbar in half life source unless you are the luckiest man alive due to a glitch that removes all your weapons and your suit.

But half-life source is the most rushed valve game i have seen. Fulla glitches and all levels are unlocked already like its the debugging phase or something.

and for me it's not glitchy at all

how messed up is your half-life source so that it removes all of your weapons damn

Play in the nihilanth fight and die,you probably will have the glitch occur.
