Hey kid... Ya want some rare pepes?

Whoa I didn't know you were so old. I'm having the exact same problems you're wondering about too. I don't know how to do anything because my parents sheltered me way too much imo

make a living off selling rare pepes
people actually buy rare pepe collections

Man, how many people are in the "18 years old and dunno what to do" club? I know I'm in that club, but I'm going to college to resolve that whole, "I unno what to do" problem.

i think i've got all that stuff planned out

>finish high school stuff (parents enrolled me in a homeschooling thing a year later than they should've)
>get a job, save for trade school or something
>???
>be an electrician

for me, it's all of the in-between stuff that i'm concerned about, like interacting with (difficult) people, taxes, bills, saving money, etc.

also whoops didn't mean to double-post

Oh cool, electrician, my dad took the same route. It's a fascinating trade imo. But i'm taking the computer route for my job path, I found out that many administrative jobs require a bachelor's degree.

I'd love to get into programming or something, but I feel like that just takes more dedication and work than I'm capable of or willing to give. Besides, I feel like it would ruin computers as a hobby for me.

Building and servicing computers is a hobby that pays, use it as a side job.

If your thinking about going to a trade school like I currently am, I would simply save as much money as you can for whatever expenses might turn up in that transition. You are more than likely going to be taking out a loan to pay for housing/supplies/and general costs.

Depending on the work load the college gives you you may or may not want to pick up a part time job, although the extra money is really nice and you can get a jump on the loans.

If your going to be moving out to college it's helpful to learn some basic cooking skills if you dont already have them. (Noßody wants to eat cold cereal everyday for all three meals)

And if you have room mates, make sure they aren't scum forgeters and people who actually have a conscience if you have the choice to pick roomies.

Edit: Oh, and a side note. Moving out of the parents house is the bet thing that will happen to you.

I'm sorry bae

anyway, at least you have a job

Heh barely. Last week I only got to work for three and a half hours. Looking to either get my manager to give me more hours or apply at another place and work two jobs.

yeah i think after i finish high school i'm going to start working and be saving as much money as i can, freeloading off of my parents a little while longer if i can help it. I don't want to take out any loans though because I REALLY don't want to be stuck having to pay something off.

I heard from a friend that i could be taking an electrician course for a day a week for a couple years, so if that has some kind of truth to it, that would leave room for working on the side.

cooking skills? no problem. i mean i probably won't be moving to a campus but whatever the situation is for me, i'll be able to eat decently, i know that for sure.

get dat money

i think that's the general consensus here anyway lol

destroy anyone in your path

If you're going to school you should consider moving away. Moving out of my house was the best thing that happened to me. Can't believe I waited until I was 19 to do it.

Ask one of your good friends to be your roommate if you plan to rent an apartment. I split the rent on an apartment with one of my buddies from school. It's huge for me because I have to take care of that and my property back home during the school year.

Of course you're going to need a job. If/when you go to school, you should find a flexible job so you can work the desired hours based off your class and study schedule. Working full time and going to school would be too much of a workload your first few semesters, so it would probably be best to work like 25-30 hours a week. That should be enough to pay for basic living expenses and get a start on paying for your tuition.
