Watched outside last night around 10-11PM with my girlfriend. We were in the front yard in a freestanding hammock, facing Northeast.
It was slightly foggy but we managed to see at least 5 or 6 meteorites, one of which was a mega loving fireball and one of which was distinctly weird a f.
It was pretty rad, I'm sure had we stayed out later and it not gotten foggy there would have been tons more, one a minute seemed like a fair estimate if you consider the ones we likely missed due to fog or FOV.
Not to mention that the sky was loving beautiful anyway.
We made cookies afterwards. :)
