A five-year-old girl has died after her head became stuck in a lift at a house in Weymouth, Dorset.
Dorset Police were called to an address in Emmadale Close at 11.58am to reports that a child's head was trapped.
Police officers, paramedics and firefighters attended but the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.

There's not been anything to specifically say so on news articles or even when this was on our local news here, but I believe it was a Chair-Lift, rather than an Elevator, hence it being in a house.

Although it could have been an Elevator if the house was equipped for a wheelchair bound person.

i think he's aware of that...that's the joke

I'm curious as to whether she suffocated, was crushed, or decapitated.

I'm curious as to whether she was crushed or decapitated.

i don't wanna sound edgy when i say i hope it was just asphyxiation i guess that doesn't count as a "head injury" then

a five-year-old's head crushed or removed? i don't even want to think about it
