I'm just taking a neutral stand point not looking to offend anyone

Why do you Americans hate japan so much
Is it because they bombed your harbor
How does that warrant two nuclear explosives
you're dumb

i'm offended

Why do you Americans hate japan so much
Is it because they bombed your harbor
How does that warrant two nuclear explosives
japan was nowhere near ready to surrender
we had already taken heavy casualties from them
we had a way to get out, and we took it.
the only thing you could argue is should we have used two bombs

They went on a genocide campaign across Asia which is still the reason why most countries in Asia still hate them. They teach their students that they didn't do anything wrong during that war even going far to omit mentions of warcrimes from their history books. Brutally tortured and experimented on pows, they sent American and Pilipino soldiers on a long death march. Japanese officers would drive their cars by holding out their swords trying to kill POWS. They illegally invaded Manchuria and the Dutch East Indies. Raped Nanking and forcibly took women for comfort. Tried to invade Mongolia, failed miserably.
Bombed pearl harbor because we embargoed them, sent torcreep's tied to weather balloons to bomb California, and invaded a small portion of Alaska.

They were not going to give up. They even had all female miltias and had prepared for invasion. All we knew at the time as that nukes made big bombs. We weren't aware of what radiation could do to people over long period of time. It's behind us, move on.

we're also responsible for stuffing the population of japanese americans into camps
The families were repaid and in the end we realized it was a bad idea, especially since the Japanese Americans were singled out alone. I have two friends who are both of mixed Japanese decent and don't give a stuff. One of them is in the US army right now and talks about how much he loves this country. Good too, hates white guilt stuffters as much as I do and both not even fully white.

-snip-

At least American history books admit we forgeted up in the internment of the Japanese Americans during the war.
