pp is a broken system that relies on the ability to 99% any song to increase by any marginal amount.

in a perfect world this would be great if we could all get 100s, but even hovering around 95% accuracy means you're gonna get to about 1100 pp and then have an extremely hard time going up until you get better accuracy.

i've been trying to do the sakura one for ages now but no dice

whenever i beat a song thats a big accomplishment for me, i play it over and over until i can beat it every time i play it. its helped me go from a 2 - 3 star level to 4 - 5+ in about 2 months

i just play this game for fun i don't really care that much about being able to do these maps consistently anyway
i mostly just play maps i can't beat to begin with so
