so i invested in a pair of 10 pound dumbells because i can't carry very heavy stuff. i can't carry one of those 90's monitors over 10 feet without having to take a break, so i wanna work on my arms and possibly my abs. anyone hear know a thing or two about lifting?

You should lift your whole body weight's equivelant in a backpack while jogging to warm up

that sounds like military-tier stuff

whatever you do, do it every other day, and the days you're not doing that, do something else

"couch to 5k/10k" is a running program that basically eases you off the couch into a routine of running 3 miles (5k) every day or some stuff

i can't run the track around a football field without stopping constantly because of pains under my ribs, most painful when i breathe. it hurts to run when it happens.

you say you "can't" but you never will if you don't keep going

the pain is very great, like it brings me to a complete stop it hurts. what seems to ease it a little is pressing on it.
