but society is moving in a way that almost no one can stop.
Bullstuff. This is just rolling over and ignoring the issue.

Exactly, to the authorities/government who would really only use it to stop crimes.
Yeah, okay.

Do you know that multiple departments in the government have HORRIBLE security? I think one department got hacked recently, giving away a bunch of private info of citizens. The NSA isn't exactly the most trustable administration in our bureaucracy. They've done a bunch of illegal and unconstitutional stuff.

"But, Swat!!!: Hurrrrrrrrrrr if ur not bady then u hav notin to hide and it dosnt matur!!"

Yes, little handicapped child. If you aren't doing any illegal stuff then you do have nothing to hide, but that isn't the problem here. We have a thing called "constitutional rights" and the authorities need a thing called a "WARRANT" to search a SINGLE PERSON'S stuffs or property!! (computers!!!!).

"But, Swat! National secruity aint got no tim for peple's rights!!! baddy bomb vest dods must be found!!"
Hey! Okay, here it we go:

Imagine there is a corporation called "Bigbuks Door and Window Installation Inc."
Bigbuks is a MASSIVE door and windows installer, the biggest in the WORLD! Due to snazzy new technologies, ALL Bigbuks products will get a FREE!!!!! upgrade to microcomputerentrywaysystemOS 1! This upgrade is the best!!! You can now do SPECIAL stuff with ur doors and windows like make the door only open to your face smiling or have a window respond to "hey, window".

But there is a catch to this COOL upgrade!!

Bigbuks has the ability to:
1) Store and access the information of keycards and keys on their database in order to optimize coolness experience with multi-door technology!! (aka digital copies of keys so they can print/make them to fit your keypad/door)
2) Store your face recognition data (and have access to your doorcam!!) on their servers to optimize coolness experience
3) Pick up all RFID data for keycards and store them on their server. All new Bigbuks keypads are always searching for RFID! (aka COOL credit card numbers to their servers!!)
4) Store what you say to your windows.
5) Have access to all of your doors and windows so they can lock/unlock them whenever.
6) Not tell you what they do with this information.

really what I am saying, little handicapped child, is that:
u r ignorant

i never said i was ignoring it. ive read this entire thread top to bottom and all you guys are doing is discussing who can tip their fedoras farther.

After reading this thread, I've declared decided that both are stuff. Both have major backdoors with one operating system having tons more than the other operating system.

What the forget are you even talking about now lol

Interesting read on how Windows 10 is with this stuff but I've seen that you can disable it.

I also found this little program that disables a lot of the controversial stuff.
And also gives you adware.

You could uninstall it afterwards.

i wish threads like these were bannable to prevent tin foiling and spreading of fear. yes we get it, you all like your data and i like my own data myself, but society is moving in a way that almost no one can stop. im not trying to be dissmissive, but almost everyone of these threads ever created had a huge burnout about privacy issues.
i dont see how that is ignoring jack stuff in the current situation. we dont have the power to overthrow the government if thats what youre thinking i was saying.

You could uninstall it afterwards.
But you'd still have adware.

Never mind then, removed the link.

imo im just waiting for things to be more compatible/optimized for it

same
nothing worked for me at all
literally nothing

I have Win8 and I like it better than 7, except for the few ads and constant notifications. Since I have no experience with 10 yet, I'll go with 7

Windows 10 is probably the best one minus the stupid obsession with cropping user profile pictures into circles.

Edge is fast as forget, and once ublock support is added it will be the best one ever.
