I'm gonna provide details on what's going on as you guys suggest things. whenever I want an answer, I'll ask the question in blue. the rest of the content preceding the blue sentence is context and should be read anyway. if you ever have a question to ask (what does this technology do, how can we do this, can we build this, what technology do we have) I'll answer it.

essentially, you guys control the prosperity and longevity of this village. make contact with other tribes, explore the surrounding terrain, research new technologies, whatever. let's make our nation as great as it can be!

Ah yes, Ebenburough was the name you decided on! With that out of the way, there are many other issues your people are plagued by: What should they be building? What should they be researching?

A major complaint from your people is the lack of warmth at night. Ever since you cut down the last trees to make your homes, firewood is no longer available. What will you do?

Some small deposits were discovered near the immediate banks. It has been reappropriated for use as a fertilizer.

A small scouting party heads north, following the river. They come across a wooded area and divert from their path. They report back to your village with their findings.

Your population has increased from 43 to 45. Now that both wood and stone are comfortably available and farms will fix your food problems, we must start asking the big questions like "Who are we? Why are we here? Is there a being above us?" Building new things like roads and drill yards will help to improve our travel rate and troop veterancy. Consider what else we should be doing besides deciding on a religion.
