Got it, good game but didn't have many friends that played.

Bought it the other day, progression is pretty good with ship upgrades (as I read online), but the whole controls baffled me and as I don't have much time I just decided to refund it after a couple hours of play.

So it's in no way amazing, but Fallen Earth matches some of those criteria and if you're forgiving of its occasional glitchiness and can enjoy an MMO that clearly needs more money behind it then you might get some playtime out of that.
It is a free to play, Fallout knockoff, MMORPG with horses and ATVs.

It's certainly good for a cheap laugh with friends.

Farcry maybe?
It on steam but you need ugay

Project Zomboid is a superb survival game, but it's isometric instead of first-person and the progression is a little weird. Your character levels skills, but there's no unlocks or anything like that related to levels alone. It's good open world sandbox (especially sandbox mode, a ton of customization in that) but it's community is relatively small.

I dunno, you might like it. I wont claim it's for everyone, it can be pretty frustrating sometimes and you gotta be pretty patient if you're playing the hardest setting.

blockland

COD = :(     Payday2 = :)
Also Payday 2 is basically on a linear release schedule, it's just a bunch of DLC instead of games. And it's just not as good.

Black Ops 3 comes out in a few months

Rust? I mean maybe no progression except what you have, but very sandboxy and open world.

Prefer a FPS game

Not quite. I don't mind paying installment DLC's, the problem with these linear releases is that when the next game is released, most of the community will hop over to the next stufffest (COD/Fifa etc) Not only does it effect the community and matchmaking speed, it also means that all my friends that I've met/played the game with will most probably move onto the next game, where you'd most of the time have to create a whole new character, just on a game that's slightly different.
With Payday 2, I can play with all the DLCs with a friend who may have only bought a copy with no DLC.
Some people enjoy the linear frequent release games, but I don't.

o ya sounds gr8

Played it, enjoyed it quite a lot. I'd say ARK is better right now (Played both of them for comparison a couple weeks ago)
If anyone in this thread is thinking of either ARK or Rust, I'd definitely hit up ARK.

now i gotta forgetin buy ark
it sounds so good

Much more exciting with a friend. Some PVE servers you can find some nice people to team up with if you have no friends :)
