mbdtf was universally well rated across the board by music critics and was ranked the best album of 2010 by many publications and hip hop/rap fans alike. have you ever listened to mbdtf?

michael jackson was the king of pop, so i don't see why kanye (a rap singer) should be awarded with this.

did i say you did
yes
you said that his music is amazing no matter what we thought of him

ok and
so the opinion of music fans and the people that already like that music style like it
doesn't necessarily make it objectively amazing

I only like one of his songs.

Micheal Jackson's I'm pretty sure influenced a stuffton of stuff. Kanye can be shoved right next to all the other rap songs as far as I'm concerned. The only Kanye song I like is Black Skinhead... and I don't even like the lyrics. I like the instrumentals, which Daft Punk did.

Pop, rap, it's all the same these days anyway.  Hell, even country, a genre that used to be characterized by its down-home simplicity and lack of heavy production, has been swallowed by the pop collective.

sorry you took it that way i meant as my opinion
ok and
ok and it doesnt "deserve to be in ycyl" because someone likes kanye

kanye has had an influence in a lot of rap. his album graduation helped pave the way to other rap music other than gangsta rap and all the hardcore stuff
