I said it's a change.
But is it change? You may think it is considered a sign that you've matured and or changed your ways, but you aren't looking at how others may view the situation.
The best thing you could do in this situation is to stop responding. You aren't going to win a fight against people on the topic of whether or not they like you, it's just going to make the situation worse and it could even end up with you getting banned again.
