Author Topic: Am I the only one who hates CS:GO?  (Read 14770 times)

CS:GO is fun. If you hate the community, just play with your friends.

Lmao no. Pay2win is an amazing way to ruin a game. You have no idea what I'm even saying lol. You're only trying to make me look like an idiot.
but you literally said that if you can buy skins you should be able to buy your way to global elite, which is paying to win

then what are you saying? you've literally just complimented the idea of terrible pay2win mechanics but you deny it. what are you trying to say??

No, skins are fine and add a nice aspect to the game, but they shouldn't be obtained by spending money.
Well they drop semi regularly.

Lol no I didn't. I was referring to how over priced stuff is.

You all think that I straight up hate skins when that's not the case.

Lol no I didn't. I was referring to how over priced stuff is.
you are not required to buy it and it gives no ingame advantage other than style
you suggesting they are given different ingame stats makes that overpriced stuff powerful and only given to the people who shelled out the money for it
thus, making it p2w

you literally said "it's stupid that skins don't give you enormous benefits"

The case is that every time you get caught in a contradiction you backpedal to a previous statement and change what it "meant"

Weapon skins are a very efficient way for Valve to make money. However, they add no extra stats to the weapon
CS:GO needs to adopt what TF2 does, with different weapon stats.
Pay2win is an amazing way to ruin a game.

At least have some forgetin dignity lmao

With the way Counter-Strike in general is set up, any sort of rebalancing with item stats differing by item skins would completely ruin the game's current pacing. In order to fix this pacing issue you would need to change the game drastically, fixing something that isn't broken.

You don't understand how game mechanics operate and because of such you cannot argue that they're bad.

Second, the community.
Players take the game way too seriously.
*cough* TF2 MVM Mann Up *cough*

I'm not saying purchasing something with actual currency should give you buffs.
Skins shouldn't determine what stats the weapon has. That's not what I meant, but you all took it that way. Like damn if it was a different game other that you didn't like, you'd have the same opinion but since we're all riding the bandwagon of "CSGO IS THE BEST GODDAMN FPS EVER CREATED", you need to try your best to defend it lol.
But what would be nice, is something like weapon progression. Say you're using the AUG, you get 50 kills and you unlock the scope for it.

That would massively imbalance the game. You really, really don't understand how this game works.
Part of the simplicity of the game is that a pro's AK and a absolute scrub's AK are identical. Long time players have no advantage over newer players but skill. That's how it should be.

no.

Say you're using the AUG, you get 50 kills and you unlock the scope for it.
then what is stopping you from buying something else? the scope is what makes it different
