Yes, it requires:

• Sound_Quake3_Generic
• Sound_Quake3_Demonic
• Sound_Quake3_Electro

I don't have these uploaded anywhere though, so you'll probably just want to remove them from gamemode.txt.
It also needs maps to be present in your add-ons folder to be playable. Here's a set of maps I used when hosting it: https://github.com/portify/quake-maps[/list][/list]
