Author Topic: Is there ANY kind of free driver software update without a license & fully free?  (Read 898 times)

I think I might have a problem with my PSU as games like Gmod, TF2, and Portal 2 shutdown on me every 10 - 20 minutes and it's getting very annoying. This only happens on mainly 3d games and note that my adobe flash is outdated but idk if that's involved. Anyways if you know one of these please tell me and send me the download link.

Could be your graphics drivers
try updating them

whathow are any of these things related
PSU means Power Save Unit I mentioned the games because when I play them my pc shutsdown in the middle of it and I said adobe might be involved in some how but that's me and idk

Adobe is a web flash player that plays flash files on a web browser
its not related to anything hardware or game related (well, the games youre talking about)

I'm not sure how title is related to content.
PSUs don't have drivers.
But to answer the question in the title: any driver update is free. NVidia Control Panel and AMD Catalyst will take care of video driver updates for NVidia and AMD cards, Windows Update will take care of any other the major ones, anything else you go to the manufacturer's site and download drivers

PSU means Power Save Unit

It would be one thing if my post's only purpose was to correct him, but when my post has actual useful information (unlike yours) it just makes you look like an ass

If it always shuts down after like 10-20 minutes gaming it's probably overheating

This. Start with dusting out the computer with a can of compressed air

Also check the fans for dust, most of the time it helps alot with cooling
and dont try to inhale the contents of a compressed air can
ever

Don't try this in your room though like I did, that was the worst idea ever.
