Just in case people weren't aware, Japan has formally renounced it's right to declare war in its Constitution and as such cannot provide military aid in Korea or any other conflict UNLESS some forgetwad decides to nuke Japan again or something. I can't declare war, it's within the Japanese Constitution, but that doesn't mean I can't provide help by other means. If Korea attacks Japan or something retaliation can be classified as self defense

Canada drafts 500,000 troops.

north korea makes a note

I had a misunderstanding, I thought the self defense force helped in the Korean war but I was wrong

that's also not founded until 1954

The Constitution was enacted in 1947, and starting in 1950 Japan began pretty much making a military police force

In 1952 Japan entered into the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan
I could just make the SDF now because the context for it is there (being the Korean hostilities) and it's only a 2 year difference which is probably fine

Also America if you want to do a treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security in RP that's totally cool and I'm on board w/ that.
