Switzerland begins to test all fighters in a series of tests that Swiss scientists and engineers state "reveals all the capabilities of airborne devices." Various categories exist with a top "score" of 100 for each, 100 being the best possible thing defined by the laws of physics (a standard that might change due to certain new discoveries and the like, but simply numbers will be added to the top for each category if the 100 is beat). For example, an extremely nimble aircraft with spectacular turning radius, with nearly immediate vertical and horizontal velocity change, would be 99 or 100 in maneuverability. Also, each category is locked by year, so a 40/100 would forever stay 40/100, even if something goes "past" 100.
This ends up being called the "Richemann Aircraft Classification" after a scientist who died testing characteristics of G-forces *cough*.
