Apartment RP

Lost interest in the project. Hahaha wow this has never happened for me :)

- All sfx used. Includes ambient .wav loop to be used with my ambience script and the .ogg of the music seen in the video. Also all the bips and boops.

- Footstep mod used. It's a modified version of Munk's with CSGO footstep sounds. Additionally, there are landing footstep sounds, and crouching/standing sounds.

Here's what we got so far.

FANCY FEATURES

• ability to temperarily' rent a room (looking into making everything reset when the player leaves, apparently the events i did doesn't actually do that with other players)
• you can lock the door and change the color of the walls in the room you own
• sfx fancy
• all content will be released when done, or near done

FANCY FEATURES THAT WE DONT HAVE YET

• only the first floor's rooms work, need other floors
• more things to customize rooms with, and a saving system can be implemented (more furniture can be purchased, idk)
• mini-gamemodes (atv races, lasertag/actual dm in a mockup version of the apartment)
• points earned from gamemodes to be spent on trails, hats, room stuff, player lights, possibly player tags, etc.

Looks awesome but how does the gamemode work? How do you buy an apartment? How do you make money to buy the apartment? Do bricks cost money?

apartments are free, you just click the button
you aren't supposed to build yet

if this goes far enough, it's going to be planned that your apartment is bare with no furniture and you can purchase more.
all data will be stored on the server so your progress will be saved.

money will be earned in gamemodes outside of the building like atv racing.

Since there is going to be enough rooms, it'd probably be better to clear the room out after atleast 3-4 days of inactivity from the player
if thats possible that'd be cool

Same could be said about the Jail Escape RP's out there and so fourth. Deal with it.

If the server reaches around 20 players per day, that's just about how many rooms there are. I'd rather just clear the room out, save what they had, and re-load it next time they claim a room.

You should expand it to town rp with the apartment being the place to live.

There's plenty of things to RP about. For Example:
Making small talk with your apartment friends.
Washing clothes.
Pooping in the neighbors toilet.
Listening to loud music and annoying the neighbor
Trying to dig your way out of the prison that is the hotel life
Running out and killing the neighbor for pooping in your toilet
And much more.
