I would like to see classes; similar to how operators work in Rainbow Six: Siege. The player uses their EXP (the currency of B&E) to purchase operators which have a variety of tools to dominate in the action. For example; a player starts off as a RECRUIT (like how it is in RB:S!). Overtime, the player earns enough EXP from objective based actions and kills. Eventually, once the player reaches a certain X amount of EXP, they FIRST have a choice of three operators to choose. The operators skills range in categories such as but not limited to: ASSAULT (the type that does performs well for assaulting the objectives), DEFENSE (the type that is known for great defensive tactics), and SUPPORT (the type that supports their own teammates which is self-explanatory).
Three operators I came up with in just 3 seconds:
DEMOLITION
TYPE: Assault
~Has a variety of tools ranging in from explosives to more explosives(!) to counter the defenders and can ultimately turn the tides of the battle. From extra grenades, to a personal flak vest, airstrikes, and more. The DEMOLITION can blast the defenders to mercy with just a click of a button.
TRAPPER
TYPE: Defense
~Has a variety of tools ranging in from trapping items that can slow down the attackers to give you and your team some extra time to react. From personal mud that slows down victims and fire to surround hopeless blockheads; the TRAPPER can stop the attackers dead in its tracks to secure a victory.
TECHNICIAN
Type: Support
~Has a variety of tools ranging in from A.I controlled devices to personal protection items that can shoot, explode, and decapitate the opposing team to help your team in a tough situation. From drones that can spot the enemy team (while exposing yours!) and turrets that can help you in a specific area; the TECHNICIAN is a class to be reckoned with.
As the player becomes more experienced in B&E, more classes will be unlocked; giving the player a variety of play-styles while still keeping the same centered goal. Now classes should only have access to certain weapons depending on the role. For example; an ASSAULT class has access to Shotguns and LMGs while DEFENSIVE classes have access to SMGs and Snipers. Classes are the start to an already successful team-based competitive shooter in Blockland. While I only gave out a basic introduction to the entire premise of classes, we can supposedly expand upon this that will eventually arrive into B&E.
