Author Topic: [RENAMED] Post Your Technology fails!  (Read 2012 times)

Uggh, I have had a bad technology today...
So I made this thread so you guys can share your tech hating you story!

So first, I came home from school, and went on my iPad---
Looking at stuff that had no sound usually, when I was on one app with alot of sounds, I still did not notice it, well maybe I did, idk, so at some point I realized there was no sound, I tested the keyboard on Hangouts (An app by Google) and I heard static, very quiet ones. So I knew it was a problem, so I went into the Feedback app for iOS 9.1 Public Beta 1, I typed "So" pretty fast and all of a sudden- PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the key sounds in the feedback app made the loudest static sound ever! A split-second off, on my bed with my cat Mazie, we jumped! I dropped the iPad Mini 3 2 inches down, and just later i pressed down the power button and slid the slide to power down thing instantly, restarted it, everything back to normal on the start-up, after then I did get to report the problem to Apple, I am REALLY hoping this gets fixed...

Now just in this night (for me) now, I was loading datablocks on Mr.Aws' server, and suddenly, my screen went black! Later-- there it is... the Blue Screen of Death the error code was "UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXPECTATION" or something like that, weird isn't it...
So Microsoft tries to collect info about the error, it stayed on 0% for a long while, then my PC restarted. After the boot up, it says not to turn off my PC, then later, it works on... Updates. -_- and then after awhile on 100%, it restarts again, works on updates still, and I finally got to access it again. But, did Microsoft really crash my PC to apply updates!?
Idk.

Anyways, share your story of technology fails!

first one i have no idea
second one was just real stuffty luck that you had updates to install and crashed at the same time, but no microsoft did not purposely crash your computer to make you install updates

I didn't really ask for tech help.
I just ask for people's experiences with technology hating them.
(For second part) But okay, I did not really know that, that is weird.

When the printer stuffs on me whenever I need to print something urgently.

I tapped my computer and it crashed. It has a broken connection with a port in the motherboard so it has a weak location

One time at school I started a computer and it went into an infinite boot > update > crash cycle

Why do I imagine the printer literaly stuffting on you instead of printing what you need lol

my school computers have deep freeze with pentium processors and they take nearly 10 minutes to start it up

Yep. That's how our computers at the school are. Some of them decide to crash on login or it somehow consumes all of its resources and then refuses to log you in.

HAH, the pc's at my school are fast af
