Author Topic: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 4 on Steam  (Read 3477 times)

Oh stuff, the first Ty game was the first game I ever bought

Damn, now I want to play the first one, but it gets stuck on the logo for TY.

Anyone have any idea how to clean a ps2 disc properly?

I've never heard of this series before.
Anyone from the UK remember seeing it?

had one of the games, lost it though

the fact that this came out of nowhere is frightening to me

i have all the other ty games and i remember them being pretty fun but idk about this one

I have the first on gamecube, but the disc is scratched. :(

The best way to describe the game is that it's like banjo-kazooie but not nearly as memorable.

it's a bit diff since there's actually elements of combat but that is actually a very accurate description now that i think about it

and the third game had bits where you drive around lol (though maybe the second one did too? i think those were just races though)

Kazooie has a bajillion ways to attack.

uhh that's right i forgot that there are actually a lot of enemies ignore me i don't exist

Is there still kart racing?

Also are 1 and 3 on steam aswell?
No and No, but if you really want to play the Ty Trilogy on your PC you could always try emulating them. From personal experience they emulate nearly perfectly.
does he have to eat from only one side of his face or does he have another little mouth on the other
For some reason Ty's mouth goes from the one side of his head to the other, however when you bite in the game his mouth works normally:
It's a weird design choice.

Both the second and third games had an open world where you would drive in. The one in the third game is just a mess and the one in the second game could've been designed better.

not in my experience but i guess it depends on the platform. ran pretty terribly on a PS2 emulator.

Funny thing, I ran it in a PS2 emulator. I was able to get the game rendered at 3200x2400 at 60fps and my PC is a mid-range build.
Hell here's a picture of it from just now.

I'm pretty sure you could drive in the second one
I remember not liking the second one compared to the first one after I played it
