Well it's not like you have to play a game around it's release to get nostalgia for it lol. Anyway I'm sure there's a good amount of adults on the forums that might've grown up with the game.

I never really played GoldenEye myself. I know we've come a long way in the fps genre, but what exactly were the things that made it miserable to play?

aiming with a n64 controller is awful. the graphics, while i believe graphics DO NOT make the game, their aesthetic quality is very displeasing. and the fps mechanics are very primitive. it was ambitious for the time, but playing it now is a chore

I mean, Quake and DooM didn't age that badly. In fact, there are WADs and PAKs that are still being made to this day for DooM and DooM 2.
