That's just what they call butterflys with low confidence.

Follow that light and aim for the sun (and get the forget out of my bedroom).

Moths have no specific aspect that differentiates them from butterflies. So technically, we were in butterfly territory in the first place.

Taxonomically/biologically they're no different, but typically moths are active at night and butterflies in the day.
Butterflies are also often more colourful, while a lot of moths are brown/white/grey/black.

But you are technically correct.
The best type of correct.

this is now the moth megathread

look how fluffy it is

One of my hunting dogs was sleeping on the porch when a duck came out of loving nowhere. I was about to grab her when the moronic duck quacked and she took off. Brought the duck back to me with her teeth deep in the duck's body. Pretty good after being roasted in the grill for a few hours. Same happened with my neighbor's chicken a month ago. Same dog.

moths are cool when they're big and all, but when you get these little stuffs that are about the size of a quarter flopping into your face its not fun

forget moths for real get that stuff out of here
