Sure, doesn't really matter.

It's a good idea, but it could easily be abused.

No, not good. It'd delete the purpose of admins.

Worst idea you have ever had, JCM.

Author Topic: Should Blockland feature a votekick/Voteban system?  (Read 2752 times)

If someone voted for someone to be votekicked, nobody is notified except the person receiving the votekick.
as long as you can communicate with the other players that won't change anything

I find that in video games it is decidedly harder to simply tell a large group of people to go out of their way to do something. If someone types in the chat "GO VOTEKICK THIS GUY" chances are people are going to ask why, whereas if they get a big message saying "type /yes to forget this guy over" they would be much more likely to do it.

It's a small technicality, but you can understand what I'm saying right? If someone's telling you to do something rather than just giving you the option, you're less likely to do it. Everyone has to go take an initiative to get someone kicked, and in this system there has to be a tally instead of a /yes /no percentage.

blockland forums should ;)

But with votekick we aren't considering the blind ones!!

It goes without saying that any form of "kicking" is insensitive to those without legs!

votekick and voteban is the worst system ever, if you've ever played CS:GO then you'll loving know why. People just votekick you for fun sometimes on CS:go votekick is the worst system ever made

It would be a good idea if it had a large wait time and rejected another vote from the same ip. Unfortunately, right now its easily abused.

Badspot decided to micromanage this time.
