The remaining forces on the Western front have fully withdrawn from the front.

The Southern and Eastern forces push on the Iraqi defense lines, while defenses are reinforced to the western flank of the Southern line so the same incident doesn't happen again. Heavy use of guided artillery shells and rocket artillery is employed to cover the fresh offensive. The Southern forces push in a three pronged attack, hitting the eastern and western parts of the southern defense line the hardest while the central assault force lags slightly behind. They are supported by light armor and infantry with anti-tank and anti-air weapons (though the latter is not as necessary).

Saudi forces are delegated to relief operations in allied-occupied Kuwait, which was bombed by the SCUDs.

Some replacement aircraft are produced back in the states.

A new program to reduce dependence on foreign countries for energy is also started, it involves the aggressive expansion of renewable energies and the development of advanced nuclear reactors that don't use uranium as a primary fuel source.

molten salt reactors and probably thorium here, since we hopefully don't need to worry about nuclear warfare as much

the navy conducts preliminary work on new ships for the next century, which will probably employ stealth features. expected classes will be cruisers, frigates, and destroyers. Their next generation carrier will be smaller than the Nimitz class and place emphasis on support capability and mobility.

the army and the marines start doing preliminaries for new armored vehicles and the wishlist for a new MBT.

The eastern portion of the southern defense line begins to crumble. Iraqi army units attempt to reinforce but the damage has likely already been done. The rest of the line holds, however.

Iraqi forces begin slowly withdrawing into Iraq.

Coalition citizens begin growing restless. The war has been going on for two years, they say, with no conceivable end in sight.

we give you one day old rice. happy????
no, im legitimately serious.

help me fend off the commies.

China moves cruisers north of Taiwan to stop their dissidents from fishing in foreign waters.

The U.S. will provide Taiwan with anti-ship missile launchers in exchange for the money to build and ship them to Taiwan by air. The U.S. 7th fleet sends destroyers and cruisers to the east and south of Taiwan.

U.S. multinationals and other corporations finish transferring their PRC operations to South African Customs Union nations and countries in the Americas.

Being stupid, I just now realize that some things apparent to old Nonnel's thread players would be not apparent to others. Covert actions can be any variety of things, including specific research or buildings that you don't want the public and other players to know about, and most importantly, espionage. Please feel free to Steam/PM me espionage requests. Because I'm lazy and it's easier for everyone else, all countries will be able to conduct spying on other countries to the same degree as a default. Countries may fund their espionage programs and increase the chances of success and the scale of the operation.

you don't control businesses
there's no reason companies would up and leave their super-cheap labor enterprises for more expensive ones

it's because of the tariffs

you don't control businesses

government put tariffs on chinese goods, and there's a growing red scare thanks to you

im sure the gov could convince labour contracts to move to a similarly cheap-to-hire country that is on much better terms w/ america

how forgetin high are the tariffs
china stops all trade to the US and pushes it on europe, russia, the middle east, and india.
more counterfeit products are made from factories that were being used by US companies

US companies use their industrial clout to compete with china in these markets as well

but then again they also file injunctions in the friendlier countries to keep them from being imported in the first place

China's economy, based primarily on exports to the US, suffers a serious collapse. Stock markets begin tumbling. US economy, based primarily on imports from China, suffers a serious collapse. Stock markets begin tumbling.

One would question the wisdom of making direct copies of US goods and reselling them to Europe.

i'd also like to state for the record that when i said "america pay your debt" i was joking

the mobilization of your navy on taiwan isn't a joke though

if you want the tariffs removed you'll have to remove those forces
