Author Topic: comcast downgraded my internet  (Read 2972 times)

paying like $150 a month for these forgets
this is probably the best my internet speeds have been this month

don't feel bad

around 90 bucks a month for this
and its wifi, not ethernet.

My fiancee's bill just doubled for the same service that she is getting.  It's stuff.  forget Comcast.

go to charter or something, there's no data caps and you get decent download and upload

not everything is available in his area
only AT&T and comcast

that's unfortunate

Charter has been decent. I just wish my parents would get a new router since ever so often the internet just disconnects. Our routers several years old.

I don't know how much it is a month, but I'm pretty sure it's less than $80 month. I wanna say it's less than $50, but I'm not sure.

$50 a month

for this

we're planning on switching providers soon, but my grandmother wants to try spending more for a 'faster' connection from our provider

if that doesn't go well we're going to be switching to another provider

Missouri is actually having a major internet problem at least for the schools.

Cable One just recently doubled the download speed. I thought it was bullstuff but i did notice my steam has been downloading faster, from 5-6MBps on a GOOD day to 9.8MBps peak now.

i couldnt stand the connections out west in the hotels i stayed at
they loaded so slow on like 6 and 7 mbps connections, even the wired ones

+no download limit
look at that upload speed though.

cable companies are out of control monopolies that need to be heavily regulated. theres no reason for them to charge such steep prices for something that costs them so little in upkeep.

I want Charter to increase their upload before they increase the download again.

Even on T-Mobile my upload is faster
