no the comic isn't bad at all it's the large attention that follows it that's a huge problem

but if he was sugar level autistic, i feel like grasping the concept of a meme? let alone how to capitalize off of one? would be rather difficult
see i dont think sugar would be as well known as she is if the comics were never posted. i think thats a fact we can all agree on. maybe later on down the road a bunch of drama topics would have accumulated about her and then people would have found out about her just like how every other different blocklander is found out, but instead it was the comics. they gave this kind of comedic twist on her popularity, and like all comedic things, people will never take it seriously. sugars funny, and thats it. thats as far as anyones mentality who doesnt really know sugar will go. why is she funny? cause shes autistic, and says and does some of the most out there, non explainable, non sensible stuff. do you know how many dime a dozen internet meme kids that most people dont like do that already?

and the fact she actually has autism only helps a little. think of these comics about her as big long game of telephone. on the forums, its all good fun. we know shes actually autistic and that she cant help it, but by the time that gets in-game, and especially by the time it gets to the less popular servers that she frequents most, thats not what they think at all. and it doesnt help that some of the more popular comics about her are edits that people have made slandering her. im not even 100% positive sugar knows these comics exist. and if she does, i doubt she knows (or even quite understands) about the bad ones. what im getting at is that sugar probably gets a lot of unnecessary heat from people from something she probably doesnt even know exists. something that probably doesn't need to exist

people respond more to meaner, uglier humor. its gonna happen here too, its inevitable. the damage has already been done, and any more is just gonna make it harder to ignore. i think thats why trog locked his topic, and i think thats why he wants you to lock yours too
but i dunno i dont see sugar a lot and she rarely talks to me so who knows maybe im crazy!!!

It's not exactly against the rules, and trying to backseat moderate telling people what they can and can't do won't help the case.

The sugar comics I've seen are not mean spirited.  They're well crafted and genuinely funny.  If you want to protect this person, comics like this will this elicit more empathy than a thousand white knights.

Pretty sure the BLF hasn't seen "dozens of handicapped boy children" in the literal sense.  Sugar is handicapped. 
It's common sense that making fun of disabled people is not socially acceptable behavior.  You're just being unnecessarily distasteful here when you should be a role model for a proper forumer.
