This. I had either a fissure a hemorrhoid a few months ago. I never bled but the pain was so excruciating that walking, sitting, and bending down felt like an axe was being driven into me. I tried a few things but Preparation H seemed to help the best with the pain. It still took two or three weeks for the pain to go away enough that I didn't need it anymore.
