I'm not really sure what to believe right now. I'm an Agnostic for the time being. I've heard Christianity and Atheism/Naturalistic Science both give pretty good arguments for their positions, but they've each been lacking in answers/decent explanations at different things.
For example Atheism hasn't been able to explain why we consider things to have meaning or value other than say that if we want something to have meaning, we must pretend to ourself that it does, on the basis of subjective opinion; same thing with morality too, in Atheism there is no such thing as absolute morality. Of course there's also the other huge problem in that Atheism/Naturalistic Science cannot explain why anything exists at all rather than nothing.
On the other hand, I have never once seen a Christian be able to legitimately "debunk" the theory of Evolution or the various scientific dating procedures that point to the earth/our star/the universe being billions/trillions of years old. Nor have they been able to explain scientific issues moreso related to morality, such as why we are only able to cure debilitating diseases by aborting babies to harvest their stem cells for research, when Christianity says abortion is fundamentally morally wrong.
And on the third hand, there are so many other religions out there besides Christianity whose believers have personally experienced supernatural things supported by their religion firsthand.
There seems to be both naturalistic and supernatural things going on everywhere I see. I just can't decide which one is the best because a good deal of them all seem about equal, each in different ways though.
All i've got going for me is the knowledge that there is such a thing as absolute truth.
I think of this fallacious statement Youtube Skeptic "Thunderf00t" made in one of his videos - where he outright declared "There is absolutely no such thing as absolute truth." But is that statement absolutely true? If it is, then it's a self-refuting statement. On the other hand, if it's not absolutely true, it means that absolute truth does exist, somehow in some way.
