So first he assumed she was mexican based off her skin, and then assumed that she would be fluent in Spanish just because of her nationality.


It's not a horrible crime he commited. It was just a mistake.
But it's not the girls fault it happened.

He did start it, and he's not in the right about that; but it's her fault for dragging it on and overreacted in trying to involve others and making this seem like a gigantic issue where in hindsight she could have just said to him something like 'I'm not mexican please don't make judgements like that' and then it probably could have ended there.

I mean, not even all adults can handle things maturely without outside mediation (people who call police because of a non-violent argument for example).

That is true that I could have said that instead.
I didn't base it off of her skin, I know that she is spanish or mexican, I just don't know which one specifically. It's not like I knew exactly what ethnicity or nationality she is, so she could have at least just corrected me. Also, I know she's fluent in Spanish because she constantly blurts out the answer to questions on the board because Spanish is her primary language.
