My laptop got wet and sat for at least an hour

So I was hanging out with a friend when I decide to pull my laptop out and I realize, it's wet. It probably has been for an hour, it's been raining here and water must've seeped through a hole in my wall and got it wet, what can I do? I tried to turn it on when I found it and it shut off and I kept it infront of a fan for 5 hours and nothing, it is currently sitting on a towel with the bottom panel removed

fill the hole with oak leaves to absorb the water

Get a forget ton of rice and get a big sack, put rice in the sack and shove the laptop into the rice. Remove the battery and put it in there seperate from the laptop. Let it sit for 3+ days. And pray that it still works
