My dad's adoptive parents, who have cut off almost all contact with us for the last 6-7 years for no known reason, contacted my dad to let him know his Uncle Gilbert, who he hasn't met or heard of in about 35 years had died.
My mum, my brothers and I had no idea who this person was.

1)Why would you tell an internet forum about this if you weren't horrifically sad? Judging by the tone he is not.
you don't have to show your emotions on the internet all the time you know. for all we know, he's probably still in shock over it
2)He gives no basis as to what the cause of heart attack could be, it is extremely rare for it to just happen.
