There was a YouTube video that showcased them for like a couple seconds some years ago, it seemed well done and was smooth.

There wasn't much application for them though. For them to work you'd need to have a big ugly tube that went from the bottom floor to the top floor.

if you don't like to go past default much, here's a good set of bricks to have without jumping up your datablocks a ton

vert prints
small bricks (no they are NOT the same as vert prints and are not replacements for them)
wedge 1x1, wedge pack

inverted print plates

The ones in bold generally aren't needed because BlackDragonIV's brickpacks already contain most of them, and in fact you are going to have brickpack conflictions if you use both Demian's and Blackdragon's. I used to use Demian's a long time ago but now I just use BlackDragon's because it's more organized, has more bricks, and is generally a much nicer two packs.

it'd be nice if someone took the bricks that demian's set has but blackdragoniv's lacks and made it as an expansion of blackdragon's brick pack, since I've had both enabled to get the best of both brick packs, but i'd prefer not to have the conflicting datablocks

I would appreciate this as well
that and either in BlackDragonIV's or Demian's pack, there are some 1x height bricks that have "NxNxN" ui names instead of "NxN," which annoys me because all other default 1x height bricks don't have that third dimension in their ui names

it's the extremely old JVS Elevators made by Trader (the same creator of JVS Doors) a looong time ago

There's no way he made fancy elevators like that and no one knows how anymore.

I'm assuming it also looked smooth while actually inside?
