Author Topic: Care to take an anonymous survey for me? (300 replies!)  (Read 2441 times)

Hi it's me DrenDran back from the dead. I gave this survey to a subreddit and while I appreciate their participation they do seem to be quite politically homogeneous. I figured I'd give out the survey here since there seems to be a fairly diverse group of people here at times.

Anyway, here it is:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VaJK2xhE4b8lFfDAM_PUzuL34Uekf3aoYJUItlq3k4s/viewform

Be sure to check "BLF" as the source for the survey. Ideally this is for high school students and higher only, but I suppose middle school students can check the high school option for education. If people want I'll post the results later on.

edit: I've added another question or two. I think it's possible for you to go back and revise your answers. That said, if you can't please don't retake the survey.

This isn't tumblr
It's good to at least provide the option as to not alienate potential survey takers.

I'm not talking about the last option.

I'm not talking about the last option.
Because I wanted to put trans-men and trans-women who might otherwise choose "male" and "female" options into a separate category to see what political differences there are between the interlove/transloveual community and "regular" cisloveual people.

Alright, the word you're looking for is 'normal' or no special word at all

lmao

Done. This was an interesting survey.

Big dren running for president

Would you all forget off getting so bent out of shape over the use of the word cis? Jesus christ it's like a loving trigger for most of you to act like dumbasses.

I feel like the choices provided for a lot of the questions don't align very well to what I actually think. Example:

Is it okay to make prisoners work for their upkeep?
-Yes, always.
-Yes, for certain types of crimes.
-No, never.

I'm not against making prisoners perform work, but I think there should be programs where they can develop useful skills for when they eventually leave prison, so those who are criminals out of bad circumstances and desperation are less likely to relapse into criminal behavior. A program like that could also help change the stigma that ex-convicts face in the hiring process.

However, I don't think it's right that prisons treat prisoners as slave workers and profit greatly off their labor giving them very little in return.

a perfectly good topic derailed because someone won't shut up about loving tumblr
he just wants the survey to be accurate

The amusing thing is I consider myself pretty far right-wing and by no means a SJW. I just like using precise terminology.

Yeah, this is my first time doing this, so it might be more than a bit unrefined.

I would argue that "make" and "for their upkeep" were supposed to mean something that isn't necessarily for the prisoners benefit, like a rehabilitation program would be. There's not a lot of people out there that outright oppose rehabilitation, so it's not generally worth asking in my opinion.
