How about a law against insulting the government.

Maybe one with communism as a prerequisite that requires addressing people as "comrade."

Or perhaps a mandatory conscription law if that isn't already a thing.

As for silly ones, regulations for the appearance of your front lawn. (this is an actual thing where I live, including things like no solar panels on the front, no gardens, and no fences)

Maybe some silly governments like "tribal," "feudalism," "RNG" (all government decisions are made by an RNG, including changing government) "plutocracy" (appoints lowest ID on server as supreme executive) "Sith" (look up the rule of two on wookieepedia) "anarcho-syndicalist commune," or "theocracy "
arresting will not be anything freeform and any sort of building laws that ban cosmetics woulnt work or would be far too selectively enforced and cause everyone to just not build anything potentially illegal ever.

laws are done in a sort of build your own gimmick government style so, while set government types that enforce a stuffload of mechanical changes at once mechanics i am assuming you are proposing wont be in, the goal is to have enough laws to let players make pretty good emulations that would inevitably leave the gov a jumbled mess because of the short lifespan of mayors causing about 5 or 6 aborted gimmucks to be going on at once

im assuming we will let players name the government as mayor but ask gyt that isnt in yet

rng government sounds like a good gimmick law that would functionally be better than default by giving the mayor a free additional law change (mayor spends law points on laws and those accumulate over time) whenever a law point is gained by randomly changing a law, effectively doubling law points in exchange for some whacky rng law stuff so gyt will probably read this and add it

new law guys
i am the law
bow down to me

*uses a ladder* i'm above the law

How about a law that legalizes the use of those Judges from Judge Dredd.
They can arrest for just about any reason.

after deliberation we decided to add that although i will kill anyone who enacts it

i'll see you in hell then

some laws have buttons at the bottom which will let you see different versions of the law. not all laws have this 'metered' function to them, but the ones that do allow for more customization in your lego-based government

also if you dislike the style of the gui please say why

also also the tabs at the top will help mayors sort through the 30 laws they'll be able to enact

you're right! i think knobs would look much better in place of the buttons.

do not loving egg him on you do not understand what he is capable of

wow, i'm blown away. good job on that gui, and the work so far, like, holy stuff, i would forget that 20 times over and still forget it like it's my body pillow, but the problem is: how are you going to get players (mayors) to get the GUI to enact those without forcing blg's required addon bullstuff? forced server->client command transmission (remote command execution sorta business) or what

sorry if you already answered this question but do you have an idea when you will be hosting this?
