If all dangerous drugs were banned all drugs would be banned
you're truly amazing

Look, caffeine is banned because it's a dangerous drug.

regardless, people will still be able to obtain drugs and use them. it's been proven that less restrictions on drugs have reduced the number of drug abuse/overdoses in other developed countries.

Will these still be up later tonight?  I want to respond, but have business to attend to.

Look, caffeine is banned because it's a dangerous drug.
honestly I'd say caffeine is probably worse for you than pot
first of all, it is definitely addictive. there's no real debate about that
second, kids are exposed to it very regularly. soft drinks and energy drinks are almost exclusively marketed towards young people
and third, it could actually cause heart problems. it's questionable, but probably a lot more than you can say about weed

second, kids are exposed to it very regularly. soft drinks and energy drinks are almost exclusively marketed towards young people Not apart of the point on how it's dangerous, but pretty obvious info from the start
and third, it could actually cause heart problems. it's questionable, but probably a lot more than you can say about weed The study also suggests moderation in order to prevent if not help with heart disease

what do you mean citation needed? it's been widely known that it's addictive.

Just because you make a hard claim, doesn't mean it doesn't need sources to back it up.

I'm just curious if there are any legit health and wellness research to back it up.

please don't respond to posts like this

yes it is. kids being subjected to something unhealthy is certainly worse than the same being done with grown people
The study also suggests moderation in order to prevent if not help with heart disease
alcohol in moderation can be good too, but many people don't use either "in moderation"

I'm not saying that caffeine is terrible or whatever. but probably the only reason it's not in the same legal spot as marijuana is because of how much money it makes

you're truly amazing
I know I am

Literally 90% of things we use can be classified as dangerous if improperly used

i've got an idea
why don't we all just agree that weed, alcohol, and caffeine are all bad and equally so
one is not higher than the other
they are all bad

saying 'my thing is less worse than yours so HMPH!' isn't going to get anyone anywhere

well alcohol is worse than the others
that harvard link about alcohol's "good side" actually describes that stuff too which is convenient

here's another relevant document

alcohol is pretty much the only recreational drug that I can't get behind

anti-gun control.
pro-decriminalization.
anti affirmative action.
