Author Topic: Video card compatibility? [HELP]  (Read 534 times)

So, a few months ago, I bought GTA V, being oblivious to the fact that my graphics card could not handle it. I am now looking into a better video card, but I need to know if these video cards are compatible with my motherboard.
My motherboard: MS-7778
The first video card: PNY Quadro K620 2GB PCI-e Workstation Video Card
Send option: ASUS Radeon R7 360 R7360-OC-2GD5 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card
Third option: PNY Quadro K620 VCQK620-PB 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Plug-in Card Workstation Video Card

Any techy people, please help with this. If you also think that these are not good options for a video card, please suggest some that are ~$100
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Second option is the better option. It should be compatible.

dont buy workstation cards those arent for gaming

i see no reasons for why that asus one wouldn't work

Because the asus is PCI Express 3.0, as my motherboard only supports these:
One PCI Express x16 (Gen 2.0)
Three PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0)
One PCI Express mini card (Gen 2.0)

2.0 works with 3.0
Oh... well woopty doo
Might have answered my question for topic, but I will leave open if anybody has anything else to suggest and such

make sure your power supply can handle it
