Author Topic: So, apparently Undetale and FNAF were getting a crossover...  (Read 3958 times)

What's funny is that even FNAF's fan's posted hate comment's on the project video.

oh man, 2 terrible games combined would have been interesting to see

i don't think the person who made this should've gotten death threats and i consider it a shame that it's cancelled

Here's a thing though, I don't consider the fnaf's fanbase that bad.

Someone has a different opinion than me?
Drugs are the only explanation!

fun fact: yosher is actually the notorious HatesMcFunster in disguise

i'm onto you and your villainous plot to dislike controversial entertainment!

That was a joke.
It was also a "please explain". I'm an idiot and should've clarified. Sorry.

The Undertale community isn't as bad as the FNAF community. Unlike Fnaf which got popular with kids somehow, Undertale hit an older demographic that can appreciate a sad story. Now, the Fnafriends who rushed in to play the game would add insane amounts of cancer to the Undertale community, don't get me wrog, but they probably would've lost interest because the gameplay isn't BOO SCARY THING.

the same crowd that was into FNaF for the underlying story or lore or w/e would be super-into undertale, cus those would be the same kind of player and both games deliver pretty heavily in that area (undertale definitely more-so)

i don't really tend buy into the whole idea that liking something is a compelling determinant of personality, that always seems like a backwards prejudice to me, but it's probably safe to say that undertale and FNaF share some similarities that would attract the same kinds of players

No, I seriously think the fnaf's fandom is not that bad. You people all make it out like every single one of them is cancerous  when in actual reality; I went on the steam community hub and had a peaceful conversation with them even sharing opinion's about there game. Fnaf's is not a horror game, rather it is a resource management game where you see if you can use your power efficiently to survive the night of ever increasing difficulty.

Yes, the inner circle is good for any community. You're talking about a steam game on the steam community forums. Find FNAF related content or discussions nearly anywhere else and it's not going to be very fun. This is the same for a number of other fandoms and communities.
