Author Topic: What happens if you have 2 blocklands open?  (Read 2173 times)

You can run as many instances as you like.
Key deactivation means the key is permanently blocked, and this only happens if Badspot does it manually, which basically requires a key to continuously bounce all over the world faster than anyone could travel, as if it was compromised and shared online.

Authentication fails happen if the key is running simultaneously on multiple IP addresses, or if the name is changed while playing. And all that happens then is you're kicked from the server with the message "<name> authentication failed <IP>" and you can rejoin (provided the host wasn't paranoid and thought the message meant you were hacking and banned you, I've seen that happen)

I opened like 5 versions once and all joined this crazy guys server and he was like wtf

Okay, thanks.
This was the most descriptive,
but does this mean I can play v20 and v21 without a key deactivation or something?

Yes.
The only things you can't do is play from two seperate IPs at once, or change your name during play

badspot personally arrives at your home and stuffs on your front door

this is why there hasn't been any major updates

You now have 2 Blockland instances open. Congrats.
