I was asking honest questions; "do they do this? Do they allow that?" trying to learn more, and helping to answer other people's questions of "are agnostics and atheists allowed?"

Absolutely, and i don't have any problem with it, or scouts in general, and I recognize that this is an achievement for OP.
What I do have a problem with is organizations with discriminatory policies using taxpayer funded institutions (public schools) for operation and recruitment. At the very least, if a school doesn't wish to support their policies, they should be allowed not to.
But they aren't.
