Starwars Battlefront

i can't seem to find a topic on this so i guess i'll make one temporally.

Starwars battlefront released yesterday, I started playing it the minute it unlocked on my xbox, and while its not as expansive as the originals, its still fun as hell. I especially love dogfighting, its soooo much better than in the other battlefronts. It feels more fluid to me. If they took the flying combat from this game and set it in the space battles of 2 I would die happy.

regular combat also feels better, and less clunky. I wish there were more options, and I really wish they hadn't decided to do away with the class system, but I'm enjoying this game none the less.

anyway, i was looking for the starwars topic so i could see if anyone was looking to form a party, I want to try and make it through a survival on master, or do some multiplayer with someone. send me a message if you're interested, CivicTurtle3456 is my gt

My brother is playing this right now in the other room. All I can hear is lots of blaster shots and vader breath.

EDIT: Just peeked in there, my brother is playing as Darth Vader.

makes sense. Thats basically what it is, blaster shots. vader breath isn't all that common though

yea the season pass thing is kinda bs. I'm gonna wait and see what all is included before i put anything into that. I'll wait for one or two dlc to be announced, maybe buy them one at a time. I feel like this game coulda been more at release but i'm just glad it isn't trash.

I'd say the game is worth 30$, all DLC included.
Which is what it'll probably be by the time I decide to buy it.

The game feels empty. Not just map wise but the combat just feels... soulless.

I'm still pissed that they removed classes (Among other things). Now half the Walker Assault maps have people sitting on opposite sides of the battlefield trying to snipe each other.

Im enjoying it because i can't play battlefront 2 anymore, and this is the closest thing we have right now. Im hoping that they're second battlefront game is improved and they actually listen to fans. Honestly, this is a better version of the first battlefront with admittedly less maps and vehicles but far improved combat and flying mechanics.

If this game sells well (which it likely has), you can be reasonably confident that this will be the exact formula they will use for the next few battlefront games.

It's funny because this has more content in a pre alpha state than the actual game at this moment. If i could go back in time and fix this mess i would.

If the next game isn't improved with more starting content i wont buy it, if they're smart they'll remake battlefront 2 using the combat and graphics they used on this one. That, would be my game of the year for sure

fallout 4 is a good bet. I guess my love for starwars overpowers how much i dislike the game. all in all, its a good fps, but not a good battlefront game. Its fun, but not as fun as it could've been.
