A 980ti is not even related to the 980. Its. Whole diff card, the g200, its basically the titan x without the extra memory.

Why did you go for an i7-4xxx when the 6000 series just came out if you're throwing all that money at this computer?

I'd probably stick with Devil's Canyon for a little while longer. Skylake will be the go to soon.

I just didn't deem the 6700k worth the extra 150 dollars + I need a compatible motherboard and ddr4. Yea im buying an expensive computer but im not gonna just throw out money for the hell of it

Did some research earlier on benchmarks from devils canyon against the new 6000 series its only a few fps difference.

bc he probably didn't feel the need to? or didn't want to spend money on it? or had, you know, a budget? just because you've got a big budget doesn't mean you can go all out on everything or that you have to buy top-of-the-line, latest components.

Got the cooler in today Waiting on 2 more parts! (monitor & Case)

Wait, you bought a 980ti, but are going to use a CS series PSU with it?
Don't cheap out on the PSU

I don't think he's talking about the wattage but the quality, I read some reviews some were really bad but generally most people said it worked fine.

I'm kinda scared now I forgot to look into the psu and spent most of my time on my GPU CPU MONIITOR And my motherboard

corsair is great, you will be fine

Yes they are reputable but this specific power supply has some pretty bad reviews for a PSU

It's not intended to be used for gaming PCs, it's designed to be used on less power hungry computers.
Should have bought one of the HX series. "HX and HXi Series power supply units are designed for gaming rigs, overclocking systems, and any PC where rock-solid stability is essential."

lol, you're missing the point
You can use it for a gaming PC, it's just that it's cheaper and less reliable (aka not recommended for high performance builds).
If he's shelling out $600 for a GTX980ti then he shouldn't buy a lesser quality PSU, especially when the HX series is literally $10 more.
