He's corrupted, and he's angry at everything.
AKA, a sith with anger issues. Why can't we have that?
because its different and people dont like things that are different
ren is great, he's a genuinely detestable bitch and it's going to be fun to watch his eventual defeat

I know I am late to the party, but I just watched the movie with my girlfriend yesterday, here are a few stuff that I think about the movie.

- The Han Solo part left me heart broken, he was one of my favorite characters in the original trilogy and seeing him die at such way is just really unbearable to me.
- BB-8 is adorable, my girlfriend loved the thing.
- I was impressed at how Chewbacca reacted after Solo's death, you don't imagine a big guy like him doing such rampage.
- Finn is my favorite character in the movie.
- The fact that the Starkiller drains an entire sun to destroy the rest of it's solar system is one of the coolest things in the movie imo
- I thought the movie was kinda short and I felt left out a bit with the story, like I had the feeling that I needed more, but I guess that's on purpose to make us excited for Episode 8.

i think its good they finally let the wookiee rage show through, they alluded to it previously but we never actually got to see it on-screen

theres an unused scene in which the guy who sold ray rations on jakku tries to take the millennium falcon back and chewbaca rips his arm off

or so ive been told

are you a loving psychopath?
because its different and people dont like things that are different
classic snide qwepir. never change buddy :^)

what about the scene in episode 5 where chewbacca nearly kills lando by choking him to death? that doesn't count?

Planr, there is a need to have a difference between the original trilogy.

Darth Vader was professional and a true Darth because he was practically brainwashed into the Dark side. He instilled fear, because he was a follower of the dark side.

Kylo Ren is a whiny manchild because he is hardly a sith. He still has light in him.
This is exactly what I've been saying all along. I didn't like how much Episode 7 copied Episode 4 down to almost every single scene, setting and event. It made it incredibly easy to predict what was going to happen, and it's the biggest reason why I didn't like the movie, next to the painfully obviously fake cgi aliens and cgi everything. I dunno man, I just really loved the practical effects in the original trilogy.

Reread my post, you seem to have missed a lot of what I said.

Failing to choke someone to death isn't the same as going on a murderous rampage or ripping someone's arms off, not sure if you noticed.

He didn't "fail" to choke him to death, he voluntarily stopped upon intense persuasion from Lando and Leia. Also, murderous rampage and ripping arms off? I don't recall that happening in the film.

Fun fact, there's alledgedly a cut scene where chewie does just that to a stormtrooper

To be fair in New Hope Han mentions that wookiees do tear peoples arms off when they lose at space chess

i hope my space-fam doesn't get mad at each other

because then it'd be a star war...!

Well yeah I'm sure they could. I'm gonna have to rewatch Episode 7 though because I don't remember the whole arm ripping off thing happening. I just remember him shooting Kylo Ren and then detonating the explosives. And Han borrowing his bowcaster a lot, which was kinda dumb because they've been a pair for like 35 years and only now Han realizes Chewbacca's blaster is a better weapon? JJ pls.

I said that the scene was cut. Like, they shot the scene. It exists. It'll probably be released with the blu-ray.

Probably because you didn't watch them or something, because the line "Droids aren't known for ripping arms off when they lose" is something that like, everyone who ever watched OG Star Wars remembers. This would be the line I was referring to when I said:
they alluded to it previously

Also, murderous rampage
Which is exactly what happened after Kylo did the bad thing, remember that? It kind of happened immediately after a very memorable scene in the movie but whatever. Compare and contrast his actions there (shooting, screaming, blowing people the forget up) to his actions in Episode V (whining, allowing himself to remain in custody without a struggle).

Posting this here for discussion purposes:
Kylo Ren is still an apprentice.

The only reason he plays such a big deal in the movie is because he's essentially the only guy with a lightsaber on the empire's side.

It was even brought up at the end of the movie that he still hadn't finished his training.

That's why he's such an angsty teenager

It's because he's still an angsty teenager.

If there is one thing i find cool about starwars hype, it is all the amazing fan trailers. I want to know what you think is the best fan made starwars trailer for episode 7 and 8.

Darth Vader was an apprentice, too.

Two-Sith rule.
